Jackson County hosts weddings, reunions, conferences, banquets and trade shows in lake lodges, restored barns, conference campuses and one very large reserve center — most of them minutes from I-77.

Up to 420 guests
Operated by the WV Department of Agriculture, Cedar Lakes Conference Center is a popular destination for meetings, workshops and retreats. Assembly Hall can hold up to 400 guests. Lakeview Dining Hall seats up to 420, and the meeting room in Holt Lodge can seat 60.
Seating for 2,500
Known for hosting large banquets, receptions and trade shows. The Millwood venue offers a heated kitchen and adjacent classrooms. Booking is handled through the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
Groups up to 500
Situated two miles west of Ripley, Parchment Valley offers a serene campus setting. Hill Hall is a 400-seat meeting venue. Greenlee Activity Center is a recreation-type facility with room for 500. Santrock Education Center features classrooms for 150 participants.
Up to 200 guests
Situated on an old dairy farm near Kenna, Liberty Ridge is a favorite spot for weddings, receptions and other social gatherings. The barn-type building can accommodate up to 200. The farm features pick-your-own blueberries in season.
Up to 600 guests
Located between Ripley and Charleston, Rippling Waters is operated by the Church of God. The conference center is complete with an indoor facility for 600 guests. Banner House is a covered pavilion that can accommodate 200.
